We are recruiting Placement Support Volunteers
At Ouseburn Farm, we offer a welcoming and enriching environment for adults with learning disabilities, learning difficulties, and autistic adults. Our approach is holistic and person-centred, blending creativity, friendship, and meaningful experiences. Our adult placement participants are at the heart of everything we do and attend our farm Tuesday to Friday during term time for a variety of workshops around the farm, led by Staff and Placement Support Volunteers. All of our activities are inspired by and take place in and around our working farm yard, gardens, cafe and visitor centre.
We are looking for Placement Support Volunteers to share their passion and skills in a supportive and inclusive setting. You will support engaging workshops for a small group of up to eight adults. Volunteering closely with Ouseburn Farm’s Placement Lead, Project Workers and fellow volunteers, you will co-create inspiring sessions tailored to the interests and abilities of our participants.
If this sounds like the perfect volunteering role for you, please get in touch with Volunteer Lead Sarah on sarah.smith@ouseburnfarm.org.uk or 0191 232 3698
