Bee on our wall!
We're looking for some buzzing buddies to join our all-new Ouseburn Farm Bee Wall.
The bees knees
Bees are fundamental to farming, without them we simply couldn't do what we do. As a nod to our wonderful buzzing buddies and a way to symbolise the support from our local community, we're creating a bee wall which will be displayed in our foyer area at the Farm.
For £50 you can sponsor one of our bees which have been specially designed by local artist Ali Elly. The name of your choice will be printed and installed for all to see. The first 100 bees are available to sponsor until 31 March 2020 and will be unveiled as part of our launch event to celebrate the completion of our capital works and the creation of our brand-new events space.
How it works
For £50 you can choose the name that will appear on your individual bee, we recommend a maximum of eight characters per line (two lines max). If you wish to have more characters please bear in mind that this will reduce the size of the name displayed. Each Bee will be of the same design and size (30cm x 26cm). And will be printed onto transparent vinyl.
As well as your bee being permanently* displayed at the Farm, you will also be sent a certificate by email and be personally invited to attend our launch event with your family and friends.
To purchase your very own bee today you can make a payment through our local giving page here.
Completing your purchase
To purchase a Bee please make a payment of £50 on our local giving page here. Please consider using the gift aid option. Once the payment is made, you then need to email with the following information:
Date you made your payment
Name the payment was made under
The exact name you wish to be displayed on your Bee
The email address you wish for your certificate to be sent to
The email address you wish the launch event invitation to be sent to, if different (we will not use your email address for any other purpose)
In order to ensure our first 100 bees are up in time for our launch this information will need to be provided by 5pm on 31 March at the latest.
We reserve the right to add more bees to the wall after April 2020.
*The Farm will take reasonable steps to maintain the display for a minimum of one calendar year from installation. However, the Farm reserves the right to remove or change the location of your bee if the display site has a change in use, is damaged or the Farm considers the location to no longer be suitable. The Farm will take reasonably practical steps to inform you of any such changes prior to them taking effect.
