About your visit

Changes to Ouseburn Farm from 12th april 2021

We are a charity and community farm in the urban heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, and to keep our visitors, volunteers, and trainees safe as we re-open, we've made a few changes to how you navigate around the Farm. These are listed below, and if you have any questions, please feel free to send us an email at hello@ouseburnfarm.co.uk.

  • Before you visit Ouseburn Farm, please book your slot here. If you decide to visit before booking, we can accommodate if there is capacity, but booking is always encouraged to avoid disappointment.

  • Please enter via the car park, our lovely volunteers will be there to register you in and encourage you to check-in via your NHS app.

  • Masks obligatory for adults and children over 11 except with medical exemption.

  • We have hand sanitizer at various points throughout the Farm, as well as a point at our entrance in which you can wash your hands. Toilets are also open.

  • There is a mapped-out route across the Farm, including our small animal room in which you can say hello to our lizards, birds, and more.

  • Our Cafe Hatch is open, serving lunches, snacks, and drinks - we are excited that our newly refurbished cafe will be open from the 17th of May.

  • We'd love for you to visit our new shop, in which we sell our produce as well as local makers' goods.

  • Exit is via the car park - be sure to let us know how you enjoyed your visit and share your photos on socials with #ouseburnfarm.

We can't wait to see you soon!
